Green Jeans, The Bees Knees...ThatGirlInGrey...

Ah, long time, no blog.

No need to catch up on EVERYTHING, I'd be here all day, but I am no longer "with" Joe B. He's in Ibiza (I think that's where he said, anyway?) right now, on a lads holiday. It'll be cool when he comes back.

I met this really nice guy, Joe A (or Joe Longname, as he is in my phone, coz his name is amazingly long) at a university taster course for London Metropolitan (wasn't that keen on the university). I saw him again on Friday, as I was in London for another taster day - London School Of Economics (great uni! shame I don't fancy their subjects...met a fantastic sociologist who's actually in my AS textbook, Dick Hobbs). We went to St James Park for like 3 hours, which was all fun, laughing at tourists and stuff. I was in the middle of a bomb scare and there were no sirens or anything, so I didn't even notice until people ran me like 'are you ok?'. I was rather baffled.... Also at LSE, I made a friend, Natasha, and she's pretty safe too.
I'm seeing Joe A again on Saturday in Kingston hopefully!

Yesterday we had the day off college, so as the little 'uns (OK, future first years) could come in for an induction day. I'm sure some may have noticed the dolls head attached to the front gate...my friends didn't do that *cough cough* haha. t'is rather amusing to see it when we come in on the bus everyday...
So with my day off, I went to see Graham in London. Met him at Embankment and went to his workplace (Curry's on The Strand) to get a memory stick and to yell at his manager. He's working a twelve hour shift starting at 6.30 am on of these days...the joys of being a university student, I guess..
We went on to Camden to meet Graham's friend, Marion and she was really late because she had to come from Paddington so we went to grab some food near the Lock. Chinese at Camden's a must for me, but Graham opted for a Hot Dog, which actually looked quite enticing...Not too happy with the stall holder, they had no fixed price on a sign, so were charging different people different amounts- me £4.50, the next person £3.50...it's not the one I usually go to, so I'll just stick with them in the future...
We finally met up with Marion and went shopping! I bought a buff vintage dress from my favourite shop, Rokit. It looks like a patchwork quilt and it's really cool. Sarah said later when I showed her it on that I look like Holly Hobby in it. I put my hair in bunches to humour her... I also got some more sunglasses (they're HUGE) as I have broken two pairs in a few weeks... I got green skinnie jeans FINALLY! Had wanted purple ones and found some nice vintage levis, but couldn't fit my fat bum into them! The green ones are extremely long ("36 or "38 - can't remember), which is good, as they don't end up at my ankles as most skinnies do with my height. I also got a fake dagger, voodoo princess necklace and teeth/face blackout stuff...to be Tia Dalma/Calypso at Alice's party on Saturday...the theme is 'Pirates', but I thought I'd be a little different...

Graham obtained a bare cool pocket watch, just like The Doctors, and said he might get me one for my birthday! He does look so cool with his military jackets and watch now. We both agree we were born in the wrong eras....he should be 50s/60s.... I should be 'born in the 80s, the 80s...'

This weekend is my last at work before Greece. Indy rang me when we were in the Shisha bar yesterday and was like 'can you do extra hours, it's gonna be bare busy Saturday' but I can't coz I'll be (as aforementioned) in Kingston with Joe A. Greece is Monday or Tuesday, I can't remember, but I packed some stuff last night. Got my outfit for the wedding (the whole reason we're going there - my cousin's getting married), white wedges that make me 6 ft (!), skirts, dresses, shorts, and lots of vest tops! Need to pack bare jewellery and stuff, and swimwear too...

Hopefully I'll get a tan, but Kiri said it'll just be strange on me as she's used to my pale-ness! grrrr...I call her a tangerine anyway and she loves it haha.

Need to save money now...spend £50 yesterday EEK. Need money for Greece and Wales and Hungary and need to save for Christmas and my car and driving lessons and and and... for going out in the summer, credit, travel.....

Can't believe I'm nearly 17. I look forward to the freedom that driving will hopefully give me lol.

right, offskies, gotta do all my sociology cw, grab some breakfast, then wait til 1 for my only lesson I'm going to today, English Language. at 2 I'm going to the orthodontist then to get Bella from school then dinner at mum's....if i finish sociology I can always do my history notes....

Joe's Party

OK, so the 6th of May, which is the sixth day of March, which is the sixth day of the fifth month, which is the sixth of May... was Joe Thompson's birthday party. Now, everyone knows that he throws a bloody good party, yet for most it was the first time they had experienced it.

It is a night of hazy memories, but I'll summarise.

  • I drank at least 5 litre bottles of alcopops- Red Square, Smirnoff Ice, WKD. Add to that Whiskey and Coke, Vodka, Gin, Beer, Cider, Snakebite.
  • I cried for a long time because Joe B smoked. Then told him to go away or I would kill him haha.
  • Rachael and Heather threatened to lock me and Lily in a cupboard.
  • Joe Thompson only has 1 out of 4 belts left ;P
  • I wlaked Lydia round Joe's road about twenty times to sober her up and made her drink lots of water. My Dad's quote- 'wasn't that the blind leading the blind?'
  • Matt Bromley was so drunk he 'lost 5 hours of his life'
  • Nick, Joe B, Steve, Daniel Appleyard went on 'pillages'- therefore, there were roadsigns, trolleys, plants and a gold bike in the garden in the morning
  • Lily kept asking for some steps to get into the birdhouse, to join Lucy Clanford, the blow-up doll that we had bought Joe for his party, which there is a higly amusing picture of Cherie blowing up.
  • Tanysha and the car (lets not go there)
  • Everyone fell asleep on the living room floor, and only got up to go home an hour later, or in Mine, Joe T's, Lily's, Anna's, Ben's and Tanysha's cases, to go for breakfast in Sunbury Tesco's.

So basically, it was a very long night and unexpected things happened...roll on next year!

Easter Hols

So, the Easter holidays came around-finally a break from 7/7 work! 10 days of blissful peace and the choice of doing what I want.

My Chemical Romance on 30/03/07 was amazing! First gig, I have to admit and obviously shows how 'un-hardcore' I am. (like I care). Got moved by some hench man, about 20 stone! and lost Graham for quite a while! Frankie Iero had to leave the stage- he was playing lying down at one point, so obviously wasn't too well.... We'd been for a Nando's earlier on and Graham made me wait for a while to go to the gig- I guess he was right, seeing as we got there on time and still got a good place- Lily, Jess and that lot were in the front row and all passed out and got crushed quite a lot. Thank you Graham for the best Christmas present!

The day after MCR, was straight down to Somerset for a wedding, which was actually rather good- wine galore! and we got to stay in a picturesque castle with deer and pheasant! The only problem was the cobbles in the courtyard- a killer with heels on! So, my one weeked off since November was not spent how I'd like (i.e. in Brighton or likewise), but I still had a fairly OK-ish time! The bride's dress was beautiful and my ickle brother was page boy, though he thought that meant he literally had to hand out 'pages' to people! gah!

Next on the itenary was London. Started off meeting Tanysha and Joe T on the train, and we explored Camden (APU) for a while, just generally having a laugh, then we waited for ages to meet up with the London Zoo lot, and when they did turn up eventually we decided to go on and they stayed. We aquired a Matt B along the way, too. Went down to Soho and Leicester Square and met a Lily in the Starbucks there, who had been to a uni taster day. Ended up in Covent Garden whereby Joe saw some amzing boardshorts and managed to undo my bra(!) in the middle of a shop ;p. We made a mad video dancing down the street and also went to Trafalgar Square where me and 'Neesh mounted a lion... Went back to Joe's, and Matt's brother brought us alcohol, and played drinking games '1,2,3,4, skin...' hehe.

Went to London again with My Joe, Jak and Kirsty and went to Oxford Street and Camden (again) and to Select for Jak to have some more pics taken and to be re-measured for his book. They dropped me off at Central for my Sociology taster day, which actually got me interested in Criminology, though the area looks rather rough- walked in to the building and saw a 'stabbing recorded' poster...

Kind of glad I wasn't in London for the Primark opening on Oxford Street...

Sunday was Easter- and I was made to take the day off work, chocolate all round! and an easter egg hunt in the garden with Alex. Good to spend time with the 'rents and stuff.

Monday was Nick's Party which was held at The Barn. Kinky copper, was I. Oh yeah! T was a french maid, Joe T a pilot, My Joe an artist, Nick was Usher...
I ended up on the floor outside.... the taxi ride home was amusing, thank god i sobered up eventually to give the taxi driver directions! I'd had at least 5 vodka shots, possibly more as I was £8 down by the time I got home! And there was the 'incident of Nick's penis'. Basically, he got it out...

Tuesday, I met up with Cass and we went to Shanghai for the best chinese buffet around and laughed lots. Some surly cow served us, though. We went home and watched lots of films and just had a general catch-up, we never see each other anymore! The next day we went to Kingston and shopped. Spent £30.50 in Primark, which is a lot for that shop! Yet, £12 was on kids pyjamas! (don't ask). Was great to spend time with my bestest friend (not best- 'that best friends can not be trusted') and we had Shakeaway's, as neither of us have had them for too long!

Thursday, we had a picnic in the Lammas- Nicole, T, Joe B, Jodie, Matt B, Lewis, Laurence, Alex Acklam, and others. Lots of food and food fights, climbing trees, eating ice creams. Was just a nice relaxing day!

Friday we had a BBQ at 'Coles and burnt sausages! Just ran around the garden, danced on the Twister Mat and took lots of pictures. I headbutted Matt and nearly broke Terry's nose!
The pics are on my space. Me and Jodie crashed at Cocos and so did Matt, until 3 o'clock when we were asleep in front of Mean Girls and he got annoyed at the clock, so walked home! We found a note from him in the morning...ha! was a fab night, thanks Nicole!

Saturday I was supposed to go to Aaron's, yet I fell asleep on the bus home from work, so Sarah said that I wasn't allowed out :( and also was invited to Hazels, but I had already been told I couldn't sleep out again and wouldn't have been able to get home anyway :(

Sunday was work, Monday was college. Same old humdrum routine. My shoulders are tense again already. Braces on bottom teeth again Thursday. Eek.

Gah

I just actually can't be bothered with anything right now. Just when I feel I'm failing French, I get a B in the reading and the speaking coach tells me just how much I've improved. Just when me and Joe haven't argued for ages, his friend winds me up, I get upset and walk away and now he won't reply to texts, calls or emails. Just when I actually have time off work, I get taken to Somerset for a wedding. Gah.
Just when I feel like I actually have money, I check my balance and have £47 to last two weeks and three trips to London, two trips to the Barn, including one tonight (maybe, if Joe's talking to me by then!). I feel like a failure in all aspects.
I'm told daily by a certain someone that they hate me, my clothes and everything about me and they laugh in my face. I'm told it''s a form of bullying.
I know I'll probably be rejected by Select for being too fat. But I'm going to try anyway, why have regrets?
Just want to go find a hole and disappear from the world for a long time.
I want Tanysha to be smiley and happy again.

Right...

so the college makes us do this pointless event at the end of every term, called Individual Learning Plan's. For the ILP's, each student must come in for a ten minute appointment with each tutor for each subject. The appointments last 10 minutes each. Thursday is 1st years, Friday is 2nd years. Seeing as Monsieur Castagnera and Elizabeth did theirs within the lessons whilst the rest of the class did work, that leaves me with seeing just David Brown at 9.35 and Nicky Whillans at 9.45. Yes, a total of 20 minutes spent in college, whereby they will look at my grades, tell me to work more and to begin revision. Pointless. It wastes two whole days of lessons, which so close to exam time seems careless, but the principal insists! So was diligently on the bus at 7.35, as per usual, at college by 8.20, sitting around for an hour and a quarter, going to the stupid ILPs and then work at Matalan at 11. Will probably end up at Costa Staines at some point before, for the daily caffeine fix (the 726% ratio is down to about 100% now, which is a significant improvement!)
The 'rents have gone to a health farm today, Hawcross Hall and left my cousin (and godfather) looking after me and Alex, which consists of picking monkey boy up from nursery, picking me up from work, feeding him, placing him front of the television and bathing him. Also, making sure that I don't 'run amok'. Like I would! Tomorrow, hopefully he shall drop me off at the station in the morning to get the train up to town. He's taken the day off to make sure things run smoothly!
No coffee-republicing tomorrow, I'm sad to say! London should take it out of me!
No 'concrete' plans as yet of the weekend, except work, though I have the feeling I'll end up seeing Matt for a bit, Joe and Cass. I'm also sure Amy and her Matt should fall into the equation somewhere!
Gah, must go get ready for pointless appointment no.1. fun.
