Ah, long time, no blog.
No need to catch up on EVERYTHING, I'd be here all day, but I am no longer "with" Joe B. He's in Ibiza (I think that's where he said, anyway?) right now, on a lads holiday. It'll be cool when he comes back.
I met this really nice guy, Joe A (or Joe Longname, as he is in my phone, coz his name is amazingly long) at a university taster course for London Metropolitan (wasn't that keen on the university). I saw him again on Friday, as I was in London for another taster day - London School Of Economics (great uni! shame I don't fancy their subjects...met a fantastic sociologist who's actually in my AS textbook, Dick Hobbs). We went to St James Park for like 3 hours, which was all fun, laughing at tourists and stuff. I was in the middle of a bomb scare and there were no sirens or anything, so I didn't even notice until people ran me like 'are you ok?'. I was rather baffled.... Also at LSE, I made a friend, Natasha, and she's pretty safe too.
I'm seeing Joe A again on Saturday in Kingston hopefully!
Yesterday we had the day off college, so as the little 'uns (OK, future first years) could come in for an induction day. I'm sure some may have noticed the dolls head attached to the front gate...my friends didn't do that *cough cough* haha. t'is rather amusing to see it when we come in on the bus everyday...
So with my day off, I went to see Graham in London. Met him at Embankment and went to his workplace (Curry's on The Strand) to get a memory stick and to yell at his manager. He's working a twelve hour shift starting at 6.30 am on of these days...the joys of being a university student, I guess..
We went on to Camden to meet Graham's friend, Marion and she was really late because she had to come from Paddington so we went to grab some food near the Lock. Chinese at Camden's a must for me, but Graham opted for a Hot Dog, which actually looked quite enticing...Not too happy with the stall holder, they had no fixed price on a sign, so were charging different people different amounts- me £4.50, the next person £3.50...it's not the one I usually go to, so I'll just stick with them in the future...
We finally met up with Marion and went shopping! I bought a buff vintage dress from my favourite shop, Rokit. It looks like a patchwork quilt and it's really cool. Sarah said later when I showed her it on that I look like Holly Hobby in it. I put my hair in bunches to humour her... I also got some more sunglasses (they're HUGE) as I have broken two pairs in a few weeks... I got green skinnie jeans FINALLY! Had wanted purple ones and found some nice vintage levis, but couldn't fit my fat bum into them! The green ones are extremely long ("36 or "38 - can't remember), which is good, as they don't end up at my ankles as most skinnies do with my height. I also got a fake dagger, voodoo princess necklace and teeth/face blackout stuff...to be Tia Dalma/Calypso at Alice's party on Saturday...the theme is 'Pirates', but I thought I'd be a little different...
Graham obtained a bare cool pocket watch, just like The Doctors, and said he might get me one for my birthday! He does look so cool with his military jackets and watch now. We both agree we were born in the wrong eras....he should be 50s/60s.... I should be 'born in the 80s, the 80s...'
This weekend is my last at work before Greece. Indy rang me when we were in the Shisha bar yesterday and was like 'can you do extra hours, it's gonna be bare busy Saturday' but I can't coz I'll be (as aforementioned) in Kingston with Joe A. Greece is Monday or Tuesday, I can't remember, but I packed some stuff last night. Got my outfit for the wedding (the whole reason we're going there - my cousin's getting married), white wedges that make me 6 ft (!), skirts, dresses, shorts, and lots of vest tops! Need to pack bare jewellery and stuff, and swimwear too...
Hopefully I'll get a tan, but Kiri said it'll just be strange on me as she's used to my pale-ness! grrrr...I call her a tangerine anyway and she loves it haha.
Need to save money now...spend £50 yesterday EEK. Need money for Greece and Wales and Hungary and need to save for Christmas and my car and driving lessons and and and... for going out in the summer, credit, travel.....
Can't believe I'm nearly 17. I look forward to the freedom that driving will hopefully give me lol.
right, offskies, gotta do all my sociology cw, grab some breakfast, then wait til 1 for my only lesson I'm going to today, English Language. at 2 I'm going to the orthodontist then to get Bella from school then dinner at mum's....if i finish sociology I can always do my history notes....
